I’m Jen, I’m 42 yrs old, and I currently live in Lawrenceville. I’ve been raising my own dogs (dachshund, basset hound, retrievers, border collie, etc) and caring for others’ dogs of various breeds, sizes, and ages my entire life. This is the first time in my life I don’t have a dog of my own, but that means I have lots of time and love to give to yours! Due to chronic health issues and a recent knee surgery, at this time I can’t commit to long walks or runs. However, I’m capable of short daily walks (15 min max at a time, a few times a day), playing fetch in your yard, and park outings if close by (I currently don’t have a car). I may not be able to take your dog on runs or hiking adventures, but there will be absolutely no shortage of cuddles and affection (as well as frequent potty outings)! If you have a high energy breed with intense exercise needs, a strong puller on walks, or a dog with difficult behavioral issues (including aggression), unfortunately I won’t be a good fit at this time. However, I do have the time, experience, and patience for senior dogs and those with special needs (incontinence, separation anxiety, etc). I also have experience with special diets, including grain-free and home-cooked, and with administering various forms of medication if needed.
