Pet care experience
My main pet experience comes from my dog (now deceased), Molly. We had her for 13 years and I was the main caregiver as I was home with her the most at the time. Since then, I have frequently dog-sat for friends and family. I am everyone's "go-to" for their pets. I love animals and always wanted to work with them, but being a vet wasn't for me. I just gave up my high-stress, fast-paced career in fashion to do what I love - take care of animals. I have hopes of eventually opening a family business for pet-care, grooming services, boarding, etc. as I come from a large family of pet-lovers. Rover is my way to bring my credibility to the next level, while doing what I love.

Jen is absolutely amazing with dogs, she has always been great with all animals, but especially dogs. She is caring, thoughtful, responsible, and truly loves every dog she sees. She takes her time getting to know a new dog, but once they feel her positive and loving energy they take to her with ease and love being around her. I trust her with my puppies and she treats them as her own! She truly goes above and beyond with each dog and makes sure they all feel happy and loved.
I cannot say enough positive things about the care Jen provided for my dog Bentley. He has to be on a special diet due to his health condition, and he has anxiety issues because of this condition. Taking care of him whether it's dog sitting or dog walking is not a task for just anyone. Jen always did a terrific job. Bentley gets skiddish when he goes for walks and it takes a lot of patience. His food has to be prepared a specific way and she never once made any error. It's truly been a joy having Jen come into our lives and help us when we need someone to watch Bentley or just take him out for some fresh air. And Bentley couldn't agree more!
Jen is great with all animals and has always loved dogs. She is very responsible and trustworthy. She has frequently watched and walked dogs that I lived with.
Jen is a very responsible hard working individual. I would highly recommend her for this position she is amazing with animals! My dog loves her, she really is the best!!

I would like to know just overall about personality and if there is any "safety" concern I should watch out for. I would also like to know if they are ill or hurt, so I know how to handle them and not push them on walks or activities. No breed preferences, just prefer smaller or medium as I am petite and not as used to walking very large dogs. I plan on getting there though!
A typical day
I will be open to the owner's usual routine as the dog's comfort is most important. If there is none, I would prefer to find a fun park or walk in areas where the dog can get efficient exercise!
