Animals bring me joy. I love that dogs each have their own personalities; they really just want to love their human, and be happy. Getting to play with dogs all day, every day, is a dream come true. For all the joy they bring to my life, I want to give something back! I’ve been working as a dog walker, and expanding to overnight care is a natural extension of my passions and my expertise. I have a pug named Hobbit (named for his hairy feet), as well as four birds, three cats, and two horses. I’ve provided foster care for a cat in the past, as well. All of my experience with animals helps me to tune into their wavelength, and take the time to understand what they need in each moment. I’m home with the pets all day, except for up to 3 hours when I’m out taking other dogs on walks. We’ll get tons of playtime, go for two longer walks daily, and take all the potty breaks that your pup needs. Every day is a new adventure, and I’m highly motivated to make sure your pup is having all the fun they can stand! I spend tons of time outdoors. I enjoy running, kayaking, hiking, and horse riding, and also love going to nature preserves. Whenever possible, I’ll bring pups along to enjoy the sunshine and fresh air and get plenty of time and space to run around. Whatever we’re up to, I’ll keep in regular contact with you--sending plenty of updates about our day, and responding quickly to inquiries. If you have other pets who need care, let me know!
