Pet care experience
I am a PhD student at the University of Leicester, working at Leicester Glenfield hospital. My hobbies include fell walking and scuba diving. Using the BorrowMyDoggy app I started walking a beautiful Siberian Husky called Nico and a gorgeous golden retriever x Labrador called Finley. I tried to see them both a few times a week, they loved going to Watermead Country park together and we had a lot of fun! I also frequently looked after my friends gorgeous American Golden called Izzy on weekends when she traveled from Durham for doggo adventures. Prior to this, during my time at Exeter University I walked my friends dogs, a gorgeous Irish setter (Mabel) and teeny tiny sausage dog (Hector) which helped me break up my studies and allowed me to meet like minded pet owners. I also spend a lot of time with my partners’ two gorgeous Spaniels, we hiked up Ilkley Moor together recently. My partner and I bought our golden retriever in March 2020 called Doug, we trained him in German and he’s doing great. I know lots of good walking spots and lots of other doggos, if your pup is looking to stretch their legs or make pals, get in touch with me. I started using Jemma as a dog walker couple of months ago, as I needed help walking my 4yr old Siberian Husky. I can’t recommend Jemma enough. I needed someone to take him on long, fast pacing walks. Which she did. Not only does she walk him, but has got him interacting with other dogs and even doing tricks i’ve never been able to get him to do. If you need anyone to walk or look after your dog, Jemma is definatly very professional, friendly and loves dogs. She also has good knowledge of being with dogs.
Jemma is a really friendly and fun girl who absolutely adores dogs - she's responsible and will love and look after your dog as if they were her own :)
Jemma is a huge lover of dogs. I have spent hours with her looking after various dogs from as small as a toy poodle, to spaniels, all the way up to an Irish setter. She is very reliable and bonds with the dogs instantly. 10/10 recommendation!

A typical day
I know plenty of walks in the Leicestershire and surrounding areas. I also know plenty of other dogs so should you wish, your dog could be socialised with other dogs. If your dog needs a faster paced adventure I go hiking and running when the weather suits.
