Pet care experience
I've mostly had dogs with my family over the years. I used to sit for a couple of friends dogs when they were on vacation as well. It's been a few years since I've had one, but am looking forward to getting a dog of my own soon. I've got two cats now, but it's not quite the same. Dogs are special in their own right. I've had some success with training as well. Just simple commands like sit, roll over and heel. Dogs are smart and fun to be with, and I would enjoy sitting for you.

When Jeffrey lived in Lawrence he was the only dog sitter we would use. We had 2 dogs, a very rambunctious lab/greyhound and a diabetic blue healer. Jeffrey was great at giving walks (sometimes multiple ones each day), cleaning up after them, and even giving Codi her insulin shots. Most of the time we kept our dogs at home and Jeffrey came to them. He was very trustworthy and we never had a problem letting him into our home. As our dogs got older they would stay at Jeffrey's when we went out of town. They were always well taken care of and loved. Since Jeffrey has moved away we have not found another pet sitter that we liked as much as him (did I mention he also took care of our cats?).
