Long time dog lovers looking to care for dogs before our family makes a commitment to adopt a pet of our own. We are a family of three with an eight year old daughter. My wife and I both grew up with dogs in the suburbs, but we haven't had dogs since moving to New York City. Our eight year old has been asking for a dog and we are looking to show her what will be in store for us: commitments to walks, feedings, and play. We'd like to experience not only the companionship but also the routine of caring for our own canine friend. We will take advantage of walks in Prospect Park as we live a block away. My wife is a stay at home mother so someone will be available during the day.
