I've had a number of different breeds of dogs growing up, rescues, strays you name it. My mom used to be called the neighborhood Dr. Dolittle lol. I've taken after her a good bit by feeling much empathy and compassion for creatures who have no abilities to take care of themselves, or thumbs if they did 😆.
