Pet care experience
Hi, my name is Jeff, but my friends call me Doug. I'm 27, and I am an active and avid outdoorsman. Currently I am a seasonally unemployed Wildland Fire Fighter. I am a college graduate from Colorado State University with a Bachelor's in Wildlife Biology and a minor in Zoology. I have 9 months of professional experience caring for Canids while working at a doggy day care (Camp Bow Wow, Golden) and nearly 3 years of experience caring for a variety of exotic animals including endangered Black Footed Ferrets at the Fort Collins Museum of Discovery as a volunteer. Additionally I grew up with and raised two dogs. I am great with all animals big or small, and am experienced in assisting with medical conditions. ( I am not a certified Veterinary Technician) I have quite a bit of spare time and a fairly flexible schedule.

A typical day
Able to take dogs on walks around the neighborhood, in the park, along the Poudre bike trail, or even trails around Horsetooth Reservoir area. Can play fetch outside if a suitable enclosed space or yard is provided or available. Can also just hangout around the house and watch tv or chill and snuggle on the couch.
