Hello, I’m Jeff! My wife Kara and I live on the Newport Beach Peninsula and are both long time Newport Beach local residents. I am a Real Estate agent working part-time from home. My wife works one day a week as a dental hygienist, and works from home as a property manager the rest of the week. We enjoy spending lots of time at home, and are having a blast pet sitting. We absolutely love all animals, especially dogs! We have had dog all of our lives. Our Golden Retriever passed away a few years ago at the age of 17, and we have recently adopted the sweetest puppy that was found abandoned at 6 weeks old. We have given her tons of love, and she has blossomed into the most amazing happy and healthy puppy that we absolutely adore. We have 2 beautiful grand-dogs as well. Our oldest daughter has a Shepherd mix rescue, and occasionally pet sits for Rover also. Our youngest daughter has a Golden Retriever, and is away at Texas A&M Veterinary School, so we are empty nesters. We live on Newport Island, which is a very pet friendly community. There is a great dog walking park just 4 houses down from us, and we have an enclosed patio and a small yard. Rest assured, your fur babies will get 3-5 long walks a day (depending on their energy level) and will be safely inside with us when not on walks. With your approval, we love to take them to the beach (3 blocks away) to chase a tennis ball around just before sunset. Obviously, they will always have access to fresh water, will be fed on the same schedule as they are at home, and given lots of treats! We look forward to showering your fur baby with lots and lots of love and attention! Please inquire about discounted rates for stays longer than 2 weeks. We board up to 2 dogs at a time, and now have our own puppy, so unfortunately can no longer accommodate dogs that need to be an only dog. We do not require a meet and greet. Our reviews speak for themselves! If you prefer to have a meet and greet, we are happy to schedule them mid-week between 4:00 and 6:00 pm.
