I love the company of all types of animals. I volunteer and walk large dogs at Austin Animal Center. I have cared for dogs from 6 month to 18 years old. Cats from 4 to 10 years old. I have experience with dogs that are reactive to other dogs and know how to work with the dogs to reduce their reactions. For dogs I usually take the to a park or hike during the stay and cats I make sure they have lots of play time. I enjoy getting up early for a walk so a pet along with my routine is always welcomed. The pet photos of cats are strays I once took care of and the dogs are pets that had overnight care. Depending on the length of stay i might take out my big camera for the best photos. I work remote and can be there for your pets the majority of the day. Aside from a few hours out for food, I'm usually a home body. Depending on the location, I would prefer to not stay over night, but we can discuss. Normally I prefer to meet the pets and owners before their vacation to get to know the pet and rules for the house, specific things the pet wants and unique instructions from the parents. Remote worker that can be with their pets the majority of the day. I will follow the guidelines to what your pet is use to. Ensure they are within my sites at all times, especially the puppies. I will follow the instructions of medication and rules of the owners. I like to confirm things when its not clear on the paper instructions just in case.
