Hi, My name is Jeff! I'm a dog lover and animal lover in general. I have a beautiful 1 yr 7 month old female German Shepherd rescue. I rescued her a year ago and she's come such a long way in that time. While I wouldn't consider myself a professional dog trainer, I definitely feel that I'm several levels above your average pet owner, in terms of understanding canine psychology and how to communicate with dogs. I used clicker training and positive reinforcement exclusively with no pulling, tugging and yanking at all, and it worked wonders. I don't believe in check chains and pronged collars personally as I have used both them and clickers in training (on the different dogs I've had throughout my life), and feel that the positive reinforcement technique is far superior, less stressful on the animal and creates an amazing, loving and special bond with your pup! Within 1.5 months, I had such a completely different dog that strangers in my neighborhood would come up to me and complement me on how far she had come, from this cute little terror, to such a well mannered young lady! I live in the North Hollywood / Burbank area and would love to get to know your four legged friend! I'm flexible in terms of what kind of walks I provide and am able to cater to your and your pets needs. I'm an active guy, so I'm pretty flexible when it comes to what I'm comfortable doing. From solo walks, to group walks, to hikes, to dog park playtime, I'm open to whatever your dog enjoys the most. I love to bond with dogs and enjoy the time spent walking and playing with them. Try me out and see how happy your four legged friend will be. I'm comfortable with dogs of all sizes and am not intimidated at all by big breeds. In fact I love them. I'm totally open to meet before hand so that you can meet me and I can meet you and your pup to see if the match works out well. If you want to meet my pup too, to see what kind of dog I raised, I'm more than happy to set that up as well. She LOVES people, which means that she'll love meeting you as well!

As long as I've known Jeff he's been a huge animal lover. He's always had pets his whole life, from Rabbits when he was a kid, to dogs as he grew up. He's into dog training and always had really well behaved dogs who lived great lives. They were like an additional part of our circle of friends as he'd bring them everywhere with him. When I'd go out of town, Jeff would always be the one I had come and check on my cats because I knew he was caring to their needs and responsible. Whenever I think of a dog person, I always think of Jeff. I've seen first hand how much of an amazing dog owner he is and would definitely trust him with any dog or cat!
Jeff is a huge animal lover, he even follows a vegetarian diet because he can't stand the thought of animals being mistreated in the industrial farming industry. He treats his German shepherd dog like a true best friend. I have never seen anyone so dedicated to training a dog to make sure she can go everywhere with him. He spent months doing intense training to rehabilitate her after rescuing her when many people would've given up, he now is stopped in the street to answer questions on how he has such a well mannered happy dog. Sometimes his friends joke about how he's the "dog dad" because he brings her travel bed and a toy and bowls with him to make sure she is comfortable. His dog has never been left at home for longer than 4 hours without him or someone else coming to take her out for a walk. He constantly exposes her to new experiences as training opportunities, whether that means going to a new cafe or swimming at a different beach. He'd make a great caregiver for any dog!

I'd like to know how well socialized the dog is. Dog friendly? Squirrel hunter? Any behavioral issues I may encounter on our walks. I have no breed preferences but LOVE German Shepherds and big dogs in general. That being said, I love all dogs and am totally comfortable with any breed.
