Jeff stayed at our house recently when we were out of town and did a terrific job with our two nutty boxers. We had a meeting about a month before we left and he explained his approach and experience for taking care of dogs and instilled a sense of trust and confidence. He really had his work cut out for him but did a great job. Sent photos often to keep our kids happy and sent us a short daily message of what they'd been up to. Came home last night to a couple crazy happy dogs...:)

As a first-time dog owner looking for a house/dog sitter for my first time away from my precious pup, I wasn't the easiest client to deal with. Thankfully I knew my dog wouldn't be high-maintenance, but I was another story. Nonetheless, Jeff was receptive from the get-go, and frankly, I was sold on him after our initial "meet and greet." In him I saw integrity, gentleness, kindness, and what seemed to be an instant, easy, and budding relationship with my puppy. He could not have been more patient and tolerant of me, and seemed rather unfazed by my anxiety and anal retentiveness. He got that it was difficult for me to go through this process and accommodated me and my needs every step of the way, which made the whole thing not only pleasant, but totally reassuring. By the time I actually took my trip, I was as calm as I could be about leaving Herschel in Jeff's care and was completely trusting of a positive outcome, which allowed me to be fully present, not preoccupied, while on vacation. The pics/texts Jeff sent throughout verified into what great hands I'd placed Herschel. He was clearly having a wonderful time, and so was Jeff - which was also important to me. I highly recommend Jeff (I've actually already done so to some of my friends), and will absolutely use him again for future house stays and possibly some training as well, given his education/skills set.
