My family and I recently had to get rid of our dog due to challenging weekly schedules. Even though we currently do not have a dog, we are still a dog loving family and are very excited to take care of your furry children. Prior to giving our dog to family members, we rescued her from a shelter 6 years ago as an "older dog". She was a very high energy Black Lab and loved to walk, play, run and go swimming in lakes every chance she got. Prior to that dog, I grew up in a family of dog lovers and had dogs around me from the time I was just a toddler. Since then I have grown to love dogs more and more as I got older, and it is something I want to instill in my children...who already love dogs. I also have experience working and handling many types of animals as I grew up on a small family farm where we grew our own beef, pork, and poultry. I am not afraid to get dirty and have fun while doing it. Anything your dog needs while they're with us, they will receive. Whether it is playful tug-of-war, long walks or cuddles, we're happy to give them what they want. As I said before, my family and I are very excited to take care of your pets while you're away.
