Pet care experience
My experience with dogs goes all the way back to childhood. My family always welcomed cats and dogs and we always viewed them as a part of our family. A healthy respect for nature and a genuine love for animals was a common value in my family growing up. When I finally had the chance I raised my own Jack Russel puppy, Holly. When I went to college she stayed with my parents and remained with them until she passed away at 18. Since then I have raised an Italian Greyhound named Santino into a great companion for my parents as they are getting older and I have a 3 year old Blue Heeler Mix that is the love of my life. Dogs are family!

Jeff is extremely conscientious in all of his interactions with dogs, he truly cares about their wellbeing and happiness, and he happily puts their needs before his own. His care and commitment to all animals is obvious from his interactions; and his ability to relate and understand a dog’s needs are uncanny!
As a pet parent to two cats and a dog, it’s refreshing to meet someone like Jeff. Jeff not only provides basic enrichment to his own pets, he also takes the time to learn about his dog’s bread to ensure she received the proper exercise, training, and structure she needs to be happy and healthy. He’s also rescued and nurtured multiple cats and successfully integrated a cattle dog puppy into the mix. Jeff is one of the first people I would go to care for my animals if we need a sitter.

I love any and all dogs. I have never had any issues with being afraid of them in any way, and I have yet to find a dog that I haven't been able to build a relationship with. The only piece of information I would want to know, so that I can avoid upsetting the dog, is if he/she has any sort of fear or territorial responses that come out aggressive. I would treat every dog cautiously at first of course, but knowing if the dog is sensitive to any sort of behavior would help me avoid it.
A typical day
The activities I currently enjoy with my own dog are running, hiking, trips to the dog park, and turkey watching. I would be open to suggestions based on the routine that your dog is used to and your preference.
