We have two well-behaved rescued dogs of our own. We have fostered for 3 different rescue groups over the last 15 years or so and live in a safe neighborhood with a nice big fenced yard we keep mowed and clean. I work where I have a clear view of the back yard during the day. Dogs can be outside or inside whenever they prefer. We keep our yard and home clean and safe and can accommodate special food/medicine/exercise routines. Crates are fine but not required as long as there is good behavior :-) We listen to and accommodate the owner about the dog's lifestyle and routine. I work from home every day and we stay home most weekends. Our dogs wake up with us around 6:30 a.m. every morning, are let out and fed around 7:00 a.m. Then the dogs can spend some time playing outside as long as they like. One of ours usually comes in after play time and the other spends most of the day outside (by his own choice). I will let your dog in and out whenever they like according to your schedule. Dinner time is around 7:00 p.m. and and then we either go on a walk or head downstairs for a little TV entertainment, then back upstairs to bed around 9:00 p.m. on weekdays, 10-11 p.m. on weekends. We keep our dogs and our dog guests comfortable and happy. We make sure everyone gets along and will accommodate any special needs of our guests. We are knowledgeable with dogs, have a trusted relationships with Golden Retriever Rescue of Charlotte (GRRCC) and Carolina Bassett Hound Rescue (CBHR), and are established with a quality local vet about 1.5 miles away, so we keep our dogs up-to-date on vaccinations and flea/tick/heartworm meds. We will require proof of vaccination and the same for our visitors, to keep ours healthy and safe too.
