Pet care experience
Hello! I have grown up working with and loving dogs. I am extremely active in dog rescue. I am experienced in handling and loving dogs with multiple backgrounds and needs. I offer a comfortable home with playmates, or the ability to give one on one care. I have trained difficult dogs behaviorally, as well as done basic training. I have worked with dogs with medical needs. I have always had my own dogs as well as fosters. I am use to giving attention to each dog as well as juggling many at a time. I believe in positive reinforcement, consistency, structure and love. Why I love dog sitting I have grown up loving dogs. My first dog, a GSD, was my best friend. From there I've had hounds, mutts, working dogs and everything between. I have a passion for the humane treatment of dogs, and a passion in saving lives. I know I'd want my dogs to receive the comfort of dog sitter versus boarding, so I'm happy to be able to offer that. About my yard I do not have one, so I walk the dogs, but we also have a dog park in our neighborhood! My experience administering medication Yes! I have done this with various dogs of my own as well as rescues. I am a teacher which means summers and holidays I’m home. During the week I work as a principal, so during school hours, no one is home. I try to be as flexible with arrangements as we can be! I have 3 of my own dogs, which I find really helps another dog settle in- having space and other dogs to see settled in which often helps them feel more at ease. I also can crate your dog if they’re use to that as well, otherwise we allow them on furniture.
Reviews
Jeannie has been sitting my dog for 2 years now and she's my first to call. Responds quickly and is flexible. My dog always seems happy and comfortable around her, when I drop him off and when I pick him up.
Jeannie, oh Jeannie, what can I say, uhmmAmazing!! I’m a 2 time war veteran and my beautiful wife who was in labor having, Our first child, now that’s a big deal especially when you’re family oriented. There were lots of hope and wishes. But my first love, Xena Warrior Princess, was alone and needed someone to show her the attention she deserves. It’s was extremely stuff for me to leave my XeXe, I was torn about leaving her with a “stranger”. So, when I arrive, oh keep in mind this whole thing was last minute, I see a golden hair woman greeting my Xena with the biggest smile Ever! I felt relief. So, we went into her home and I saw another dog and a cat, which I kind of freak out a little because Xena has never met a cat let alone seen one. Jeannie reassured me that’s it okay and not to worry. ‘Go! You have a pregnant wife who about to give birth, I got it! Have no worries’. Okay then back to my wife! Jeannie was THERE! To save the day! We are blessed with a baby boy named Aiden Jean. Thanks to Jeannie Xena was not left by herself. Two thumbs up! Actually I’m wearing flip flops at the moment so four thumbs up and I would highly recommend this FIVE STAR Rover!! No doubt. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️??♂️??
Super loving and caring as if it’s her own.
My dog is very anxious, and he warmed up so fast to Jeannie and her babies. She melts me updated on how he was doing and of course he was playing and loving life. Thanks for taking care of my baby.

I try to adapt my home to what your dog is use to, and we are very flexible. My dogs have a usual routine and so I understand that other dogs too, and that really helps them settle in.

Information Jeannie N. would like to know about your pet
No breed preferences. I love them all equally. I just like to know foods, schedules, behaviors, likes/dislikes and anything the owner finds important. Each owner wants to know their dog is loved for while they are away, not just cared for. My dogs are my babies, and I know how I want mine taken care of, and I would offer the same to any other dog as well. I think everyone should feel comfortable wiht their experience with me.
A typical day
Here's where we'll take our walks I like to walk dogs around my property or I take over to a park down the road with baseball fields and open spaces. It boards a wooded area as well. We also just live in a wonderful dog friendly neighborhood and we just enjoy a good walks around the neighborhood. On weekends if the weather is nice, we also go hiking. Your dog's sleeping arrangement Whatever your preference, my bed, dog bed, dog crate.. I am flexible! My dogs are in my bed! Time I'll spend with your dog I can do individual and group plays. I do group plays every 2 hours (Honestly it’s probably more when I’m home. I’m constantly letting my dogs in and out to play. When they are let out, and I spend time with the dogs in between, I just try to give them the attention I would give my own fur babies. My days are usually built to work around the dogs at my house as well as at others. I try to fit in the demands of anyone's dogs. That could mean staying over your home, or just going in for walks. I try to mean your demands, and honestly.

I my dogs are use to getting up and getting fed and going on a long walk in the morning. I do the same routine when I get home from school. On weekends, holidays, I have lots of flexibility. If your pup is use to a normal work day- that’s the only amount of time they’d be home by themselves.
