Hi there! My name is Jeannie. I've been a dog owner, lover, and pet-sitter most of my life. I can care for your dog in the comfort of their own home, and I am so excited to meet you and your furry kiddos! I love dogs because they teach us to be in the moment and to appreciate the little things in life. There's always something to be excited about, whether it's the smells on the sidewalk, or a pinecone! I think the best thing I can do for the world is to always try and be the person my dogs think I am. Spending time caring for my clients' pets is an honor for me, and a responsibility I take seriously. They're a part of your family and you only want the best for them. I offer peace of mind while you can't be home. You will know when I arrive, when I leave, and everything that happens in between. I am amenable to most requests - for even the oddest dog habits - some dogs are very particular! Don't be afraid to ask, I handfeed my own at least twice a week just because he enjoys it. You can be comfortable leaving your pet in my care, I'll treat them like my own. You and your dog will love me because I have tons of experience with our furry friends. Starting when I was young I pet sat a hobby to earn spending money, and as I got older it became a side business. I love working with all dogs and meeting their people along the way! There's nothing better than building relationships and meeting other people and pets in my community. I've trained dogs, been owned by dogs, and cared for other people's dogs for almost two decades now. I am capable of taking care of dogs of all sizes, shapes, and energy levels. I'll even throw in some cat sitting too! I have experience with livestock, rabbits and even birds! My dream is to someday own a large plot of land where I can provide a forever home to animals in need. If you have a specific routine that you think is strange? Don't worry about sharing it, I have a client who makes me play a game called "hallway" when I sit for her dog! I work my day job from home most of the time; so even during the weekdays, I am present and available for those special cases where dogs might not want to be alone for long.
