I'm an avid walker/jogger and can always use a buddy as company. I've fostered some dogs in Va. One that needed to go out every hour and a half because he was an old fella and just couldn't hold it. I'm used to larger breeds like 70-90lbs but all dogs seem to like me. I have and always will be a dog person. I can't own a dog here because of the landlord but would love to help out when I can. My friend in NYC hired a dog walker from Rover and said I'd be perfect for it so here I am. If you have any questions please let me know and I'll do my best to answer them. If there are any behavioral issues or triggers I need to know about that would be helpful. Any tummy issues or anything you'd like me to look out for. My sister's dog used to get sick when she left..he'd be so upset he'd throw up a few times and cry for her until he settled down. Just nice to know ahead of time if there's anything like that I need to prepare for.
A typical day
I like to walk around Lemoore to the park and sometimes to the grocery store, to the school to pick up my kids as well. My pedometer usually has 20,000+ steps on it every day. I do have a pool that is closed in with a fence but am not comfortable letting any dogs in it since I don't know cpr and don't want to take any chances. If your dog loves to swim though we can definitely talk about it.
