I have always been drawn to dogs - when I see a little dog, I want to pick them up and give them a big hug! When my two children were young, I'd always find an excuse to go to a puppy store!!

I prioritize my day so there is time for rest and for play. Mornings begin early and breakfast time is early. There's someone to care for them - no crating unless they prefer one for bedtime. It's like their home-away-from home.

I ask that your dog is UTD on shots, flea medicine and worming; be non-aggressive and potty trained. Most of the pups I watch are little but there are Goldendoodles and certain breeds that are like big teddy bears who fit in very well so do take that into consideration.
A typical day
I play music and sing to them, we go outside very often. I'll bring my laptop outside and do work as they enjoy the fresh air. Little walks and little rides, trips if the owner is okay with that. It's like their 'home away from home'. No stress - just fun!

Availability
What I like most about dogs is that they each have their own distinct personality and as you get to know them, you really do begin to understand them. Their motives are genuinely pure - dogs just want to be good. Bad behaviors are from either past traumas, improper and/or inconsistent training but with time and patience these traits can be overcome. My fenced-in, secure, back yard provides security and an opportunity to enjoy the outdoors. In the summer, the breeze and the shady trees make it a comfortable place, even on a hot day and my home is on a quiet cul-de-sac away from busy streets.
