Cannot say enough good things about Jeanette!! I had just moved to Hoboken from out of state and did not have any friends/family in Jersey to watch my 1.5 year old pug, Marvin, while I went away to a wedding for the weekend. I was pretty nervous about finding a sitter because I had never left Marvin with anyone other than my parents before and if there was an emergency, I would be all the way on the west coast with my closest emergency contacts in the midwest.. so I really needed to find someone I trusted to not only watch my dog, but be solely responsible for him until I returned home. After a couple messages on Rover with Jeanette, I asked to schedule a meet up with her because she seemed like such a kind person who geniunely loved dogs. After hanging out with her and Marvin for a bit, my first impression was definitely confirmed- she really is the sweetest and she asked SO many questions about Marvin's care... by the time we left her that day, 95% of my anxiety about leaving Marvin for a few days had faded completely away. The last 5% of my fear disappeared when I was dropping Marvin off and Jeanette asked me if the temperature in her apartment was okay for him. Pugs are brachycephalic breeds, which are prone to heat strokes, and I was very concerned about this because I would be leaving Marvin on a very hot weekend in June (...and there are a lot of horror stories out there about dog watchers & walkers not taking the heat stroke thing seriously with pretty dire consequences). Jeanette, though, appeared equally concerned as me and her asking me to verify this just spoke volumes about the level of care/attentiveness Marvin would be receiving while he was with her. Throughout my trip, Jeanette sent me updates and pictures of her and Marvin... and I could tell from the photos he took to her like glue. When I came to pick Marvin, he almost did not want to leave with me... even after we arrived home, he whined at our front door for a bit and I could tell he just wanted to go back and play with Jeanette. Long review, but if you're still reading this, choose Jeanette! Seriously, you will not regret it. She will treat your pet as her own and you will feel so at ease with the entire experience. She is 1000% my go-to sitter for Marvin now and I am grateful to have found her on here!

(Sorry for my late review!) Jeanette is so kind and keeps me updated with texts & pics of my puppy. Definitely recommend her!
