Pet care experience
I have 17 years experience pet sitting various types of animals including high anxiety animals and puppies. Past experiences include walking, playing, overnight stays, feeding and medicine administration. I am an avid ASPCA volunteer and have a rescue dog of my own. Additionally, I worked as a professional dog walker in Alexandria, Virginia and have been trained to use different leash/harnesses as well strategies to deal with aggressI’ve/submissive behaviors. I have been an animal lover my entire life and happy to dedicate my time making life better for owners and their animals who need some extra care while their family is away.

I highly recommend Jeanette to anyone. She was absolutely fantastic with my dog while we were away. Her communication skills with us exceeded my expectations. She really cares for other pets, as if they were her own. I can’t say enough good things about her and it’s so great to have her in the area!
I cannot say enough good things about Jeanette! Our golden retriever is fairly high maintenance, since he is rarely home alone, AND he was on meds while we were gone. Jeanette hung out with him all weekend, kept to his typical schedule, and handled all food/meds--all of which I am certain reduced his anxiety while we were gone. She sent regular updates (with photos!) and I swear our house was cleaner when she left than when we left! We (and Darwin) can't wait to have her back!

A typical day
When family is away I will aim to mimic your dog or cats routine to keep them comfortable and happy. In addition to providing walks, feeding and playtime, I am happy to base myself from your home to make sure your pet doesn’t feel anxious or alone.
