Pet care experience
I am a young 58 year old who loves life and all animals. A Waldorf teacher of 20 years turned dog walker enjoying life one day at a time! I enjoy being active and am gentle and kind to dogs. That's why we get along well. I know how to handle rescue dogs who sometimes have issues as those are the dogs I've had all my life. Love is the greatest gift for a dog.

Jean did a good job taking care of our cat Bodhi while we were away. She is reliable and always maintained good communication and sent pictures from her visits.
Jean could not have been better with my 14 year old dog, Diablo. She did all that I had requested of her and more. All of the physical requirements to keep the Diablo ship running, plus she genuinely has a beautiful and kind heart. Diablo loved her too. I could not recommend Jean more highly. Jean is one of the kindest, most trustworthy and dependable people I know. Her love for animals is abundantly clear and her calm, happy demeanor and gentle way is something they are very drawn to. She never allows herself to be distracted by a cell phone or headphones, etc, and so she is totally focused on the dogs and spends real time with them! This really matters to me!! I think they can really tell when someone is fully present (and conversely distracted) when they're with them. Jean is a godsend and I wholeheartedly recommend her!
Jeannie is a trustworthy and loving woman who is absolutely great with animals. Working alongside Jeannie teaching nursery school she often spoke of her rescue dog and all the places they would go. Jeannine's calm and compassionate demeanor makes her magnet to both children and animals. If you're looking for a reliable and kind person to look after your pet look no further.

If possible I would like the owner to take the first walk with us to get to know the dog's routine outside. What are the dog likes/dislikes in the outside world? eg; is he/she afraid of bigger dogs. Does he/she lunge at other dogs or at cats, rabbits, squirrels? What makes his/her uncomfortable and comfortable? No breed preference. Love all dogs.

I will take the dog where the owner tells me they like to go which may include a dog park, nature hike or neighborhood walk.
