Hi, my name is Jean, and if you’re looking for a nurturing pet sitter, you’ve come to the right place. I’m a freelance artist with a flexible schedule with plenty of experience dog sitting, both professionally and for friends and family. I love dogs of all shapes, breeds, and sizes, and have experience with rescue dogs as well. I’m a true-blue animal lover -- all are unique and fun! I’ve hung out with fish, lizards, cats, rabbits, and even chickens. While your dog stays with me, we’ll work on some new tricks, refine old ones and spend lots of time at the park saying hi to neighbors. If your stay is long enough, a pet portrait will probably happen during some free art time. I live nearby a park, and we can take long walks on my favorite trail. I’m all about positive reinforcement with warm words and belly rubs. Let me know your dog’s quirks and personality traits, and I’d be happy to accommodate. In my freetime, I love to paint, dance, and train capoeira. As an active person, rest assured your dog will get the exercise he or she needs with me. The fall season is one of my favorites -- I love the change of colors, the brisk weather and the cool evenings, and to warm up with some soup and thick wool socks indoors. If your dog is more of an indoor cuddler, we can hang out inside. Your dog isn’t my only client, however -- you are too!
