Jean was very sensitive to my dog's personal needs asking numerous questions about his preferences and unique personality. I could tell my dog enjoyed being in Jean's home since he returned to my home calmly. She also sent us numerous pics which we loved! We would definitely request Jean in the future.

Jean A. is a kind and loving dog mom to her beagle, Daisy, and she has shown warm concern for other dogs that she has taken care of. She has a clean and safe home and she finds that dog walking is a great way to provide exercise for herself and Daisy-she also picks up trash along the way so that the environment will be less hazardous for future walks. Both she and Daisy would ...

Leave your pup with no worries!

** I know from experience that you have to feel reaaallllllly good about your dog-sitting arrangements to be able to fully enjoy your time out of town. The single most important thing to know is that I would make it my highest priority to take care of your pup as you would and will accept the booking only if I feel I/we can achieve that.

My sidekick (Daisy M. Dog) is a beagle-chihuahua who's 11 ...

What Jean would like to know about your dog

I'd just like to know a particular dog's quirks, what his/her energy level is, his/her daily habits, and what (if anything) might be the most challenging thing about watching your pup.

As far as preferences, they are more about size. We are best equipped to care for dogs up to about 30-40 pounds, who are crate trained.

When Jean watches your pet

We go for at least two half-hour walks a day but will do our best to adjust to your dog's needs too. We have a dog park two blocks away where we can smell and run freely! When it's nice out, we head to the forest preserve, a 10 minute drive.

At home, we like to sleep in the sun coming in the windows, play with our stuffed animals, and cuddle. We don't keep the food out, since Daisy is so food driven (part-beagle).

We are happy to send pics of your dog throughout your time away -- that's one of the things I appreciate when leaving Daisy with someone.
