Hello! I have dog and cat sat for friends and family for about 3 years. I believe listening to the owner and gaining the pet’s trust is most important. Since no one knows the pet better than the owner I take what they say and incorporate it to the visit, whether it’s talking in a specific tone of voice, playing with their favorite toy, or giving them space, hearing and following through with what the owner and their furry friend need is key in having a successful visit. I’ve played with high energy small dogs and quiet shy cats, figuring out the best way to make the pet comfortable in a visit or a walk is important to me. Accommodating with the pet whether it be having a chill time or longer walks I try to my best to meet the pets needs.
