I have grown up with dogs and have always had one near. I've puppy-sat and dog-sat for family and friends over the years. My parents have a senior German Shepard that orally receives medicine daily, so I have experience if need be. Currently I work from home and Avery; 1yr old 12lb shihpoo, could use a playmate during the day. We walk to the dog-park daily and allow her to wonder in and out of the house as she pleases. She is allowed to sit on the couch with us only when invited, and we expect the same with any fur-friends. Because we do work from home, we'd prefer a low maintenance pooch.
