My pet sitting days started out when my sister’s friend needed someone to watch his new beagle puppy Charlie. My first step into this field started at 18 where I spent 4yrs working for a boarding/daycare business that offers care for all dog breeds and sizes from puppies to seniors as well as cats in private luxury kitty condos. There I completed 2 courses and became ✅Certified✅ in reading dog body language and communication. 👩🏻‍✈️Shift Lead👩🏻‍✈️ Responsible for all food/medication prep and administration. I became well known for being able to get those who wouldn’t always eat to eat 😋 🔹Trained in administering 💊Medications💊 🔹Trained in how to properly perform a Social Evaluation for new clients. After running a Social Evaluation for a new passing client, dogs were then transitioned into either a large or small open park environment based on size and able to join the pack 🐾 After the daycare I held a ⚕️Veterinary Kennel Assistant position as well as a 🐾Professional Dog Pack Walker/Pet Care Provider position with separate companies for a brief window period before I decided working from home through Rover is my better option while my first born was still young 🐣 Since then I was employed as a 🫧Bather for a local professional grooming business a lovely friend of mine opened of her own until I had my second born which led me back to falling in love with providing private stays in a family style home environment for pets to experience more of a staycation at auntie’s place while you’re away ensuring plenty of love and care to your pets as they were my own 🫶🏻 🩵Please note that I do have young/small children (ages 9 & 15mos) who are each well versed in being nice and gentle with our pets🩵 🔻Cannot Board any aggressive pets🔻 ✔️Can provide in-home Overnights for those who do better in their own space 👽
