Hey there! I'm Jaz =]. I am a huge animal lover, and over the years have had both cats and dogs as my furry companions. Aside from caring for my own 4 year old hound mix rescue, in the past I have worked at off leash dog daycare/boarding facilities. As a working actor, dog boarding provides me with the flexibility needed in my schedule, and allows me to do what I love best; care for our furry friends. I have cared for over 20 dogs in home, ranging from senior to puppy and large to small. I have experience providing oral medications and am sure to follow accurate feeding guidelines.

Jaz was a real joy to have at our house. She kindly met up with us just so we could have a small introduction despite being busy. Likewise, we had a small problem with our lock, in which Jaz was incredibly understanding about and communicated with a family friend of ours to resolve. Our dogs really seemed to like her and she left the house just as she found it. This is a dependable, diligent, and thoughtful person.
Jaz was fantastic! I booked waaay in advance for a two-week overseas trip, and she set up the meet-and-greet right away and then sent me messages closer to my dog's stay to make sure we were still on the same page. My dog eats raw, and she was great about storing and serving his meals. She was able to pick him up and drop him off and was flexible about times. Lots of pictures and updates, and my dog didn't want to leave her without saying goodbye!
Jaz and her boyfriend Marco were amazing with our older dog, Lucy. They are both very experienced pet owners and Marco works with dogs professionally. We could tell Lucy would be in great hands upon our initial meeting and were extremely happy with her care over the Thanksgiving holiday. Jaz and Marco were both really easy to communicate with and very timely in responsiveness. Jaz also sent several happy pictures of Lucy during her stay which was very reassuring to receive. We would not hesitate to recommend their boarding and dog walking services. We will definitely use them again when we plan to be away if at all possible.

- Is the dog up to date on Rabies vaccination? - Basic personalities of dogs prior to sitting them (Are they hyperactive, calm, anxious, easily excitable etc.) - Do they get along with other dogs? (on and off leash) - Does your dog have any food allergies/medical concerns I should be aware of? - Do they guard furniture, toys, food, people etc.? - Are they reactive to loud noises? I do not have any breed preferences. I love all breeds equally!
A typical day
I live in an area that provides for plenty of hilly walks and terrains. For more adventurous and active dogs (and with owner permission) I know of a few short hikes in the area that provide for more exercise, all on leash. I do have a fenced in yard so dogs are able to run freely while under my supervision. Dogs will NEVER be left outside unattended. Your furry companions will have unlimited love and attention in my care, full of belly rubs, butt scratches and chin rubs.

I work as a Teaching Artist and Actor for my full time gig and love to spend my extra time caring for your furry friends! Whether that be while you're on vacation, or just need some extra care assistance 😸 During the year (Sept-June) my schedule closesly follows that of the School calendar, so I am off for all major holidays and breaks! As an actor my schedule fluctuates but i do my best to keep my schedule here updated accordingly and will always communicate any disruptions in my schedule that may impact my ability to sit for ya 😸
