Jayna was an amazing and accommodating host!! She accepted the request very last minute and sent pics/videos/updates throughout Zoe’s stay. I highly recommend and will definitely rebook!

Jayna is great with pets! I can tell that she genuinely loves and cares for animals, and her generosity will guarantee that your pet’s wellbeing is #1 priority. Jayna has watched my pet several times, making sure they are safe, comfortable, and loved. They got plenty of exercise, sufficient meals, and have been spoiled with lots of cuddles and playtime! The consistent updates of photos and videos always reassured me that my dog was in good hands. I will definitely be having Jayna take care of my pet again!

Jayna is a pro at caring for dogs, cats. She loves animals and will take loving care of your pet as one of her own. She has watched my dog while I was on extended vacation. I did not have to worry about my dog. Jayna offered my dog ample food, lots of hugs and sent timely photo update which was reassuring. I would not hesitate to leave my pet under her watch and care again.

Safety, trust & environment

I have a large SF home with plenty of yard space for the pet to walk/run around. Front of my home has a fenced yard while backyard is open with a small creek that has a hilly wall from the creek and open access from side to neighbour’s backyard so I’d leash the pet in backyard, unless you tell me that your pet has a reliable recall training and/or does not run away from humans for play or explorations. I am generally lenient about letting the pet explore the home and outside areas, unless the pet is destructive or can’t follow safety commands. I practice reward-oriented discipline approach instead of punishment. Unless the pet is destructive or a danger to itself or anyone around, I redirect and/or ignore unwanted behaviours while reward and acknowledge healthy behaviours to encourage balanced habits and confident character disposition. If I find the pet is struggling with behaviour in a given situation, I calmly remove the pet from the offending situation or change the situation where the pet feels safe, secure, and comfortable to be itself. I follow the owners’ schedule for mealtimes, potty, and playtime as directed and modify only if necessary due to my schedule changes. At client’s home - I follow clients’ directions as closely as possible, unless the dynamic situation demands any changes.
