I understand the importance and value of animals to their owners, and that dogs and cats really are our best friends. I cannot currently commit to my own full-time puppers due to understanding that commitment, but have a very warm and open heart. I have helped nurse a puppy who had parvo back to health, and I have taken care of a blind dog... so I have experience with dogs who need a little extra love, as well as dogs who prefer to eat and play, but are otherwise independent. My job is HYBRID- which means I have some days that I can be in your home all day, and sometimes I will be going into an office from 8am-5pm. At present, my in-office days are Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays. However, please shoot me a message if you need a Friday and I’ll see what we can do. House sitting timeframe: For me, house sitting means within a 24-hour time period where I am able to leave for 3-4 hours at a time if needed. If you need me from a morning one day to evening the next, I will add a half-day charge to cover that, since it would extend over a 24-hour period. If you’re unsure, just let me know. If you need several hours of nonstop care where I am unable to leave for more than an hour, I will typically book that as a housesitting. If you need an entire day (more than 8 hours) of nonstop care where I will be unable to leave, message me and we can work something out. Due to COVID, I don’t really leave much, if at all, but having the flexibility is important to be able to book other drop-ins and walks. Hopefully that makes sense. Any questions, just message.

Jaymie is just amazing, every time I use her services she does the best job. So professional, so kind and I trust that my cat is in good hands. Also my cat loves her- she gives him so much extra love and play time. In addition to helping water my plants and just keeping the space tidy. Such a lovely experience every time I work with her.
Jaymie is seriously the best! My cat loves her and I always come back to him so loved and cared for! I feel so comfortable in leaving him with her. She goes above and beyond. Definitely will be continuing to use her service!

I treat your home and pets with the utmost respect. I take my cues from the owners - if the pup has a strict schedule that you require, then I will meet those needs if possible (and if not possible, we will discuss beforehand so there are no surprises.) My experience has shown me that people who prefer housesits would like me to cuddle with the pets and let them sleep on the bed with me - that is 100% fine by me.

I would like to know the history with dog sitters in the past, and if they are leash aggressive. I’d also like to know if they are escape artists. No breed preferences.
A typical day
Since I'm in your neighborhood, I usually ask if you have any particular routes that your doggo likes. Unless it is requested or I am given explicit permission, I do not travel with your dog in my car - so you can be rest assured that your pup is safe and sound at home. I do want to note that I am not a runner (I’m a walker), so super duper active dogs that need long runs won’t be the best fit. :) But walks and fetch?? I’m in. Otherwise, I spend a good amount of my time just hanging out with your pet wherever they'd like.

Availability
At present, your pet makes the biggest part of my schedule when I am pet sitting. If it is an overnight visit, I will stay at your home overnight and spend a good chunk of the day there as well. If you just need a drop-in or walk, then I will coordinate with times for you. I work in-person between 8am-5pm on Mon, Tues, and Fridays. Tue/Thur I work remote.
