Pet care experience
Your baby will love it with me! I’ve taken care of dogs since before I can remember. I grew up with a yellow lab, lhasa apso, and shih tzu that are my whole heart, so I have a lot of experience with a wide variety of pups. During my time at JMU, I volunteered at the Rockingham-Harrisonburg SPCA as a dog walker and loved every second of it. I have also been a Rover member for over 2 years, so I have a lot of experience with a multitude of dogs in many settings. I love walking, running, and exercising, so your dog will never be bored! I look forward to meeting you and your fur baby! I look forward to meeting your pup and hearing from you!

Jayme was great with Zuko. We had a meet and greet ahead of time, and she came across as very friendly and knowledgeable. Did everything for our puppy we could’ve asked for. Will be using her services again in the future.

Jayme was an awesome find! She house-sit for the first time for our 10-month old black lab mix, Dallas, and instantly connected with him as soon as she walked in the door! He could obviously sense her kind and loving spirit as he cuddled up to her on the couch and never left her side (not even when we walked to the door to leave, which is not like Dallas AT ALL!) I told her it was the same warm feeling I used to get when I dropped my kids off at daycare and knew they were happy, smiling and well cared for. I look forward to having Jayme sit for Dallas again and would highly recommend her!

A typical day
During our walks we will stop at local dog parks (if possible), spend ample time sniffing around, and maybe even run/jog to blow off some energy! During my drop ins, we will play fetch in the backyard, enjoy a snack, and get ample cuddles.

Availability
I currently work 3 days a week, so I will have plenty of time to car for your babies. My schedule changes week to week but I receive my schedule 6 weeks in advance, so we will have ample time for scheduling!
