I have worked with and trained animals of all sizes throughout my life. I work hard to make sure any pets are following instructions and maintaining good habits. I have the most experience with dogs, cats, horses, and reptiles. In any interaction with most animals, consistency is key. For visits, I find it important to get as much play time as possible in during the visit. This really helps keep the dog calmer and less likely to take part in stress induced or destructive behaviors while he's alone. House sitting with animals is very similar, and I like to make sure to establish a routine with them. Walking a dog is really about paying attention to the animal's cues, and making sure we are allowing them to burn off some energy and enjoy the good weather.
