Pet care experience
My grandmother Dorothy who lived in Staten Island ran a pet grooming shop along with her 2-3 employee//owners that she then became good friends with. I remember as a kid going to visit my grandma in the shop and watch her take care of others pets with love and care and it always made me so happy I’d also help her around the shop with the pets. Ever since then I knew I was an animal lover and wanted to be in the same field as my grandmother; she taught me everything there is to know on how to properly take care and love pets. I even read articles and watch videos to learn many new ways to care for dogs and cats.

Jaylynn, was excellent with my girls. She was a sitter for me before and I was so glad that she was available when I needed a sitter recently. I will always look to see if she is available whenever I need a sitter in the future.
Jaylynn is an excellent sitter. My dog felt her energy and fell in love with Jaylynn the first time they met during the meet and greet session. I could tell that she loves dogs through our conversation and my dog was very comfortable with her. When I dropped her off, she remembered Jaylynn, went with her immediately and never looked back for me. Since picking her up, she is actually behaving better (although she's a very young dog) than she was when I left her. In the future, when I need a sitter, I hope Jaylynn will be available because I have great confidence in her ability to care for animals because of her love for them. I would highly recommend her!
Jaylynn has the softest heart for animals. I sometimes tend to have a busy schedule with college and work so I’d always call on Jaylynn to watch my 2 pits who love her so much. I have build so much trust within her when it comes to my pets they jump on her as soon as they see her. She’s very kindhearted and treats animals as if they’re babies Jaylynn cares for them so well. She takes them for walks and always reassures them if they ever get anxious around other animals to where they don’t even bug other animals anymore. Micah And Cookie became very animal friendly with Jaylynn. She’s like a magical petsitter and she’s a very nice and warm hearted person with a bursting personality very great and easy to get along with.

I DO NOT AGREE with hitting pets as a form of discipline. You do not need to put your hands on your pets and abuse them in any way to show or tell them right from wrong. I DO NOT yell at pets just because they did something wrong. Just as much as humans have feelings pets have feelings too and should be treated with love care and respect. How would you feel if you were a dog or a cat and your owner or sitter treated you poorly ? It’s really sad. I’m very sweet and light hearted with pets.

A typical day
Fun activities I do with dogs is to take them for morning and afternoon playtime in a park near my neighborhood called Kelly Park. The park is mainly grass so there is much room for your pets to run around and get as much exercise as possible. If dogs are pet and human friendly I can take them to dog parks in Manhattan or more near home so they can also play and socialize with other pets.

I’m a recent high school graduate trying to get my 2yr major in Veterinary Technology Health Science at LaGuardia Community College. I’ll mainly be taking online classes so I will be home most of the time and take time off to show love and care to the pets.
