My name is Jaylea & I've been pet sitting for about 5 years. All of the people that I've provided pet care for have been different family members. I've decided to sign up for Rover because I want more diversity in terms of clientele. In regards to special skills, I don't think I have any. What sets me apart from other sitters and walkers is that I'm going to school to become a veterinary technician and I volunteered at a wildlife rescue for a few months. At the rescue, we delt with sick, injured, & orphaned wildlife (mainly raccoons, opossums, & squirrels). I also have experience fostering little baby kittens (starting with helping my grandma care for 3 orphaned kittens when I was 7). I hope someone will choose me to care for their pet because I do have experience caring for different types of animals.
