Pet care experience
Growing up, I've always had dogs, cats, and even took care of birds. My grandfather was a Shih-Poo breeder, and has had 7 dogs living at our house at once. I would always help care for them often times on a daily basis, and as time went on, I started to take care of other pets that belonged to friends and family throughout high school. My first job was at Franklin Park Zoo as a keeper's assistant in 2014, which inspired me to pursue a career in animal care. I now work at 2 hospitals as a veterinary assistant in both the ER and Radiology departments. I am also a Penn Foster student taking classes to pass the VTNE, which will allow me to get licensed as a CVT

A typical day
I love going on walking trails with my pups and I think it's a great way to better stimulate them while staying relatively close to home. Some include Cunningham Park in Milton, and Jamaica Pond in JP. We also go to some local dog parks like Peter's Park and The Urban Dog Park over in the South End, and Ronan Park in DOT.
