Back in my hometown in Alaska, I started sitting and doing walks just by word of mouth through friends, families, neighbors and colleagues. Soon over the years, my contacts just grew and grew! It was rewarding spending my time with all these amazing animals and getting to know their awesome parents! But down the road I realized there could be others out there who needed my help. Rover allowed me to connect to people who didn’t have the luxury of having someone they knew and trusted to care for their beloved fur babies, especially for those who recently moved from another state. Since my move in 2021, I’m now ready and excited to start new adventures and build some awesome memories with your animals! I’m a very patient and intuitive person and I believe those qualities allow me to be better at understanding a dog’s needs, personality and energy level (even for cats!). I’d be sure to exercise any commands and mannerisms they already know. I’m open minded to all breeds, especially mutts! I’ve had experience in caring for large breeds, (i.e. Huskies, Malamutes, Newfoundlands, Retrievers, Labs, Boxers, American Pit Bull Terriers, etc) along with medium/smaller breeds (i.e. Bulldogs, Corgis, Pugs, Maltese, Yorkies, Terriers, Dachshunds, Toy Poodles, Chihuahuas, etc). No act is too big or too small. Whether it’s hours of play time or just a relaxing day of tummy rubs, I’m happy to do both!
