I have had experience taking care of pets (especially dogs but also cats, fish and hamsters) practically my entire life. I was 8 years old when I first assumed basic responsibilities for my first dog, Bee, a black lab. I've since had plenty of other furry loved ones in my life. As a fourth year medical student only 3 months away from graduation, I am very adept regarding medications and administering them (although I'm not by any means a vet, most medications prescribed for animals are the same ones we prescribe to humans).
