I have had dogs in my family for as long as I can remember and their companionship is priceless. Whether it was caring for my grandmothers dog after her hip surgery, taking care of three 70+ lb pooches on a desert property, walking dogs for the Humane Society or my own beloved Charlie, I have always loved playing, walking and communing with dogs. Thank you for considering me to take care of doggy family member! I have been a lover of animals since the day I was born and have spent much of my life working with them. I truly believe that the pets we adopt are our family members and deserve as much love, respect, and attention. I volunteered for the Humane Society for 6 years in both the cat and dog rooms. At the humane society I cleaned the kennels, fed, played, and made toys for dogs of all sizes. I then left the Humane Society to intern at a veterinary clinic for 2 years which involved administering medication, restraining dogs for necessary procedures, and walking them. I also had a cat with diabetes and am used to administering routine injections. I trained my unruly and bite-y dog Charlie (chow-shepard-pitt mix) as a puppy and taught tricks to my grandmothers silken terrier. I have dog-sat for three large dogs at one time as well as dogs that would never leave my side and have loved every minute of it.
