Hi! My name is Javis and I am a part-time student at the University of Minnesota studying kinesiology. I am a very responsible, mature young adult. I grew up in a home with a myriad of animals ranging from horses to birds to dogs. We had all different sizes of dogs as well; with a Rottweiler, a golden retriever, and two chihuahuas all living together, in which I was partially responsible for taking care of in conjunction with my brothers. I continue to care for them when my parents are out of town. I have been dog sitting for over two years now, and love to learn more about different breeds of dogs. Between my partner, Christian, and I, there is almost always someone at home, so your pup will never be lonely. We look forward to meeting you!

Javis did an excellent job watching Minnie!! She came home tired and happy, he sent pictures and was very responsive.
My dog seemed to have a good time. Sent pics regularly and was very responsive when I contacted him. The only reason why I'm not giving a 5 is because there was a small incident when I dropped my dog off where his friend's cat jumped at my dog.

I love dogs of all sizes and breeds. I am excited to learn a little bit about the different temperaments of each breed. My only requirement is that they get along with other dogs, as I do not want Gizmo do be unhappy. He has been around a multitude of new dogs as my old roommate was a dog sitter, and he loves making new friends. It is especially fun seeing him get excited when his friends return to play with him.
A typical day
My dog sitting style is very laid back. If you have a list of special needs for your dog, I will be very accommodating and make sure to meet them all. I will always treat your pet like my own, and they are always welcome to snuggle with me, regardless of size. I am home most of the day during the Summer and only work part time, with shifts usually in the evening and no longer than 4 hours. There will almost always be someone home at the apartment. In the Fall, when my classes begin at the University of Minnesota, I will only be gone from home between the hours of 11am - 3pm and your pet will never be home alone for longer than that.
