I was never allowed a dog as a child, I’m making up for lost time now! My brother and my best friend both have dogs, they leave the dogs in my care any time they need to, and I'm all too happy to help. I've lived in shared houses and shared the responsibility for both dogs and cats in these environments, at times being the sole carer. I used to work at a vets surgery, one of my roles here was to comfort animals during stressful times (having their blood taken, waking up dizzy from surgery etc), I also kept their environment clean.
