I have been working with rescue dogs in southern Ca for many years, since moving to Tahoe I have been missing my dog friends and have found myself with some free time and an opportunity to get back to what I love to do: hang out with dogs! My home is a perfect dog sanctuary. Fenced in yard, safe environment, and right next to dog beach. I live with my dog, her name is Bella/wiener dog mix, 30lbs, 5 years and gets along with all. She is a barker sometimes but is learning to use her inside voice.

I was super nervous to board our dog for the first time but I had nothing to worry about because Jason and his girlfriend took amazing care of Tofu!!!! We were sent constant updates and never had to request photos because he was always sending them to us. We were at a hotel 10 minutes a way and Jason said we were welcome to stop by and visit her anytime we wanted which is so sweet! We didn’t actually visit her since we didn’t want to traumatize her by coming and leaving but it was very reassuring knowing it was an option. Our dog has really bad separation anxiety so I know she was a handful for Jason but he totally was able to handle her. When we went to pick her up he even gave us a cute monkey dog toy that he said she grew attached to! Above and beyond!!!! Will definitely use Jason again if ever back in the area. Thank you!!!!
Jason was very accommodating to our schedule. Our dog immediately felt comfortable at his house and was happy to play with the other dog he was boarding. Would definitely recommend!

Home is an old cabin with a fenced in yard in the lake forest neighborhood in Tahoe City. Dog beach is a couple of blocks away and the street I live on is very mellow and dog friendly. I do prefer you bring your dogs bed, even if just for the day since I have hardwood floors. I do let the doggos up on the bed and couch, but if you have a specific rule against this, then I will make sure they stay on their bed.

When I take on a clients dog I of course I like to be provided with the food our friend eats, and also like to know if he or she is aloud to have treats or if he or she prefers to eat at specific times. When we come together for the meet and greet we will go over your dogs morning and potty routine, and just basic daily schedule. I like for my client to provide toys if their dog likes them and let me know any games the our friend likes to play. I also want to cover any quirks your dog may have while out on walks or just hanging out in general.

Availability
I am available almost every day, I like to go on a walk to the beach with your leashed dog at least twice a day if your dog is up for it. I will only unleash dogs at the beach and with your permission. My yard has a very secure fence and when I let the dogs play in the yard it’s always supervised.
