The Loveable & Caring Dogfather
Pet care experience
I’ve had and cared for dogs most of my life, and have been their primary source for food, exercise, mental-stimulation, hygiene and training. During the pandemic, my gf and I began fostering dogs. Since 2020, we have successfully fostered 11 dogs and found homes for all of them (including adopting one ourselves). I have experience with administering ear, oral and topical medications. If your pet likes to go on long walks, I am up for the task, or if they’re a senior dog who has trouble keeping up with the pack, I have a dog stroller to get them out and enjoying the fresh air. I’ve taken care of many friends’ and family members’ pets over the years. Dogs under my care receive as much attention as they are comfortable with, correct portion-size meals, medications (prescribed only), a warm place to lay their head night and day, a large back yard to run and play in, and lots of exercise and mental stimulation.
Reviews
Jason just watched our dog for the second time and was so thoughtful and caring! He made a point to adjust his work schedule so that he could better accommodate our plans. Also, my dog was not feeling well or eating this time around and he made sure to let us know and again was super accommodating. He even offered to take her to the vet for us before we returned from our trip because he was concerned for her. Jason goes above and beyond to make your pup comfortable and we really appreciate his thoughtfulness, care and friendliness.
Jason is so amazing with my English Bulldog! I can rely on him to make sure that Savanah is well taken care of and always safe. He even helped her lose weight while she was with him. He is the only person that I trust with the intricacies of an English Bulldog!
Jason was amazing! We got together beforehand to make sure our dogs got along and it all went great. He sent pics each day and let me know how my dog was doing. I felt confident that our pup would be well taken care of while we were out of town. He also followed my care instructions for sleeping/feeding which I appreciated. Will absolutely book with Jason next time we need a sitter. Thanks!
Jason is wonderful! He gives me updates on how my elderly dog is doing. He lets me know if she is having a good day or a bad day (she has bad hips). I am so thankful for Jason!

My gf and I have a one-story, ranch-style home, with a fenced-in backyard. There’s lots of room for your pet(s) to play, run, do their business, and even a concrete patio to lay on if the sun is out. I have a Chihuahua/Dachshund mix named Gambit, who loves having doggie visitors, He assists me in playing with your pup and keeping them entertained. Your pet(s) will automatically become part of the pack with our tribe, and they’ll receive lots of love and attention from myself and extra attention from my gf. If your dog is a crate dog for the evenings, we have a large sized one to accommodate most large sizes, or you can provide your own. If your dog prefers to lay on the bed, we are cool with that option too, as long as they've been groomed before coming over and don’t have any potty issues. Feeding is done in the mornings, (at noon for puppies) and evenings, unless you specify a different regimen. Feeding is dispersed proportionately (no over-feeding here, but treats come out throughout the day and if you permit them beforehand). Medications are administered per your instructions—written details/steps are encouraged. Please let me know if your fur baby has any allergies or other medical conditions I need to be aware of.

Information Jason M. would like to know about your pet
For All Clients: I appreciate as much information as you can give me, so that I have a well-rounded idea of “who” your pup is and the best ways to care for them. For Boarding & In-Home Stays: A list of their prescriptions—when/how best to administer them. Their food and diet info—amount, how many times per day, any additional instructions. Safety is really important in our house. Since we have tone pup in our home, we can only board dogs with no history of aggression—better safe than sorry for all parties involved. If there’s a routine you need maintained while your pup is in our care: special games they love to play, a training technique/skill, let us know and we can even get together before your booking to go over and practice. We want to continue your hard work while you're away, so when you return, it’s like you never left!
A typical day
If your dog prefers to chill and relax on the couch, we can do that. If your dog is a bit more active and needs to run a lot, I have a ball launcher, a frisbee, a chuckit, and we make frequent visits to a nearby dog park for them to play and socialize with others, with your permission of course. The park is also close enough to walk to, so they get exercise each way. If they’re a senior dog and can’t keep up with the pack, I have a dog stroller to get them out and enjoying the fresh air. I'd say an average sized Australian Sheppard-sized dog is the largest size that can fit in the stroller. Another fun park to go to is Powell Butte, and that’s more for the bigger dogs, who enjoy long walks/hikes and need to burn off a lot of energy. Luckily I have a large enough vehicle to house any sized dog, so I’m able to transport them to these parks with ease.

I currently work M-Th and am home full time F-Su. If your pet needs to stay on days I’m at work, my gf works from home and is able to help out until I get home in the evenings. If your pet stays overnight at our home, my gf will be there to assist with watching them as well.
