Pet care experience
Pets have always been a part of my life. Having grown up "in the county" with beagles to now as an adult having multiple small breed dogs and a few cats along the way, I don't ever want to imagine a time without the responsibility, the companionship and the entertainment of a furry four-legged family member. I'm currently responsible for 4 "kiddos" including Brody, a 7 year old Shih-Tzu, Sadie, an 8 year old Maltese, Jack, a 3 year Bichon Frise and Zeus, and 18 year Maine Coon cat.

I have a large fenced-in yard with both grassy areas and natural areas. Poop is picked up and disposed of daily. I live in small neighborhood away from busy traffic. I'm happy to crate your pet if requested. I don't mind sending pictures and/or videos of your pet's stay as often as you'd like.

Let me know of any special needs or behaviors I should be aware of, I'm happy to accommodate. When it comes to feeding time, what should I know? Should your fur baby eat by themselves or is it okay to feed them along with others? Do they get along with cats? I have an 18 year old cat that's pretty tolerant of dogs unless they're too hyper/in his face. I know routines can be important to many so please let me know how I may be able to keep any important routines going while I'm caring for them.
A typical day
If your dog(s) love the beach, awesome! I love taking the pups for walks either along the beach near where I live or along walking trails in the Croatan National Forest. Dog toys are plentiful in my home. I have two large toy baskets that get turned over daily by Jack, my youngest dog, who likes to decide which toys he's going to play with for that day. Fetch? Yep, we do a lot of that too!

I'm a real estate broker and I run a virtual real estate licensing school from home. I'm home full-time during the week with the exception of when I'm working with buyer clients and touring homes on occasion. My own pets are rarely alone for more than 2 hours.
