I have grown up with various different types of pets and have always watched my friend's and families pets when they needed to get away. I am happy to care for them as if they were my own. I have mostly taken care of dogs, but have taken care of cats, horses, turtles, snakes, lizards etc. I love taking dogs out for adventures if appropriate,

Jason is a great house & pet sitter! He left the place untouched and clean, texted me updates about my kitty with pictures, and was very communicative and easy to work with. It's sometimes hard to find great pet sitters who you can trust to be with your pets and reliable and Jason made it easy from day 1 reassuring me that my cat was in great hands. Highly recommend him to all pet parents :) !

I have taken care of enough animals that I am often able to foresee common issues that may occur and prevent them from happening. I also am very meticulous about any directions you may need to provide me for taking care of your pet and or home.

I like to know of any medical concerns, all about their feeding routine, how often they need to be let out, if they need to be leashed when they are walked, and how they interact with dogs and people.
A typical day
Happy to play fetch, taken them on walks, go hiking, take them to go swimming. I am well versed with the local trails and know which ones tend to have snakes.

Availability
I work as a mental health counselor and get to make my own schedule. I typically take long lunch breaks and have even taken several of my friend's dogs in for some therapy if appropriate. I often am an early riser and when needed will take the dog for a walk to get out some of their energy before work if needed or am happy to take them for an afternoon walk as well.
