Pet care experience
I have had dogs and cats my whole life including puppies and senior dogs and cats with medical issues. I have been caring for other peoples dogs, cats and horses for over ten years. I have a level 3 extended diploma in Animal Management including training in canine and feline first aid. I have a degree in zoology including completed modules in Canine and Feline science. I worked as a team leader for a dog waking and pet care company for 6 months and as a dog rehomer at a local animals charity for a year- including working with rescue dogs requiring behaviour management. Due to the experience I have with a range of rescue dogs, I am happy to look after any pet.

Jasmine is always really great with Ace (our 1 year old pup) - she is very experienced and understands dogs really well. I'm always really comfortable and confident with her walking our dog - knowing he is in the best hands! Always really helpful when we need her to walk our pup and Ace has a blast - always has the biggest grin after his walks! :) Highly recommended!
I can't thank Jasmine enough for looking after our little cat while we were away for the weekend. She has excellent communication skills and kept me updated the whole time, she sent photos and really put me at ease knowing our pet was in safe hands. She made time to give her lots of love and attention and made sure her bowls were full. I came home to very content, looked after kitty. Will definitely be asking for Jasmine's services next time.

I have a lot of experience caring for pets. I always use positive enforcement and never use negative training or punishment. All animals should be respected and I understand their behaviour needs to be able to care for them correctly. I can also provide training if owner requests.

Please let me know as much about your dog as possible before I look after them. I especially would like to know what their preferences are, do they like other dogs, do they like saying hello to people, their usual routine, any behaviours that will need managing, their training and known commands etc
A typical day
Both physical and mental stimulation is important for every dog at different levels. I love to challenge dogs with games and puzzles to stimulate their brain and make think. I think it’s important for dogs to express natural behaviours when out and about. I always allow dogs to sniff if that’s what they like doing. Dogs that have excellent recall can be let off lead in safe areas and dogs that aren’t as good with recall can be walked on a long lead instead to have some extra freedom while still being under control.

I am an ecologist with my hours changing each week. But I have plenty of spare time to take bookings for pet sitting and walking.
