One of my main aspirations in life is to help people and animals but animals have a special spot in my heart that can never be filled by anything else. I want to provide people's animals with love they can't always give them due to busy lives. I know that pets are part of the family and their owners want to give them the love they deserve but may not always have the opportunity to and that is what I'm here for, to fill that need for pet owners. I want to be the person who makes the difference in not only the pet owners life but also the pets'. I personally have four dogs of my own in my home that I love to pieces. I love both big and little dogs so I have two of each but I did get one of my fur babies from an abusive owner so I am slowly trying to socialize her with new environments and fur friends so this takes my home out of pet sitting but I have no issue with going to the pet owners home so their pet doesn't have to deal with an adjustment of a new home and multiple dogs. I am currently a part time sitter and dog walker because I work part time at a small school. So I can be gone for up to 5 hours on weekdays but I am looking to make pet sitting and dog walking my full time job in the near future. So my mornings and nights will be dedicated to giving my clients dogs my full attention and mid day is the only time I will be away. On a more professional note I am also accredited by ICOES in pet sitting and pet training and love to apply my learning to my clients. I am also in progress of taking a Pet CPR class to be equipped for whatever comes my way. I like to incorporate some of my learnings in overnight stays as well as walks. So I might try to teach some excited dogs basic commands and tricks but only for about 5 minutes when they have ran or walked off most of their energy so they are more focused and ready to learn. I enjoy taking my own pets as well as clients to parks and around small neighbors and try to avoid major streets because many dogs get anxious when introduced to such a different environment. I also love playing fetch and tug-of-war with my furry clients to get some more energy out in a fun way. I love to have fun and so do the pets! Side note: my overnight rate is a flat nightly rate not charged per dog.
