Hi there! I'm Jasmine and I’m a New Jersey Native that’s been living here in LA for almost 5 years. I currently live in North Hollywood, minutes away from several parks, but that doesn’t stop me from hitting the beach any time I can! Currently I’m unemployed, but when I am working, I’m a Producer’s Assistant for television shows. So I’m DEFINITELY very organized. I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life. Currently my family has a a big ‘ol fluff of a German shepherd/ Belgium Malinois mix name Benjamin (Benji for short)! I helped raise him when we got him during the start of the pandemic. It was a lot but so very rewarding. I also live with a dog at the moment. Her name is Willow and she is my roommates service dog. She’s a medium mixed breed and the most precious Angel. I think what’s most important to note is that I am a dog person. People will say that they are, but don’t mean it. Well I definitely mean it! I’ve worked with Rover before in San Diego and loved it. Now I’m ready to help out up here in LA. I will make sure your fur baby gets the love and care you need while you’re out or busy!

Unfortunately my pet's stay didn't go as well as hoped with Jasmine. I've boarded my dog several times with both professional boarding facilities and dogvacay (now Rover) and haven't had any issues. She prefers to be with people and isn't one to runaway. She is also really responsive to voice commands and comes when she is called. However, the first night my dog stayed with Jasmine she escaped through the front door, ran out, and hid behind a bush. Apparently she was stressed and scared and when Jasmine's friend approached my dog to retrieve her my dog lashed out and bit her hand. I feel bad for her friend, but apparently my dog felt threatened enough to act very unusually. Luckily I was still in the area and was able to pick her up and take her to a professional boarding facility (where she did very well for the remainder of my trip). I think Jasmine did her best, but for whatever reason my dog didn't do well with her.
Jasmine was absolutely fantastic! She was able to watch our dog Bailey at the last minute when we went on vacation. She sent many updates and pictures and was extremely patient with my constant berating of questions about our dog. Jasmine has two roomates, so Bailey had plenty of people to play with and interact with. We truly appreciate the care she gave Ms. Bailey and I know she would provide the same quality of care to any dog she is sitting for.
It's clear Jasmine has a true love of dogs. Her patient and love are quite prevalent!!! I will always contact her first to dog sit for me!

Although you won’t be able to bring your pet over to my home, I can definitely come to yours. I’ve cared for my neighbors pets (dogs, cats, fishes, turtles) before and have stopped by their home to attend to them. I’m very respectful of your space and want to make sure your dog is comfortable with me. The last thing I want is for him to think I’m an intruder!

I will need to meet your dog before. I don’t want them thinking I’m a stranger in their home. Also, if they have specific behaviors I should know about or existing diseases that I would need to help out with. The more I know the better ☺️
A typical day
I live next to many parks and a great neighborhood, as I’m sure you do as well! LA has a great selection of parks to choose from so we will definitely explore them! I also will definitely take them to the dog beach so they can get out there and enjoy the water. It’s LA after all!

Im currently unemployed and have a lot of free time! I like to keep myself busy, by leaving the house and going on walks and such, so I can care for your pet any time that you need, and I’ll make sure they’ll get that daily exercise they need!
