I grew up in Westchester and we always had animals in the house--birds, turtles, cats and of course, dogs. As a young girl I dreamed of becoming a veterinarian (instead I became a chef). My father owns a dog grooming business, so I sometimes help him at work. I also helped him raise a boxer puppy who I adore deeply. It's too costly for me to have my own dog, so that is why I want to help others care for their beloved pet. I consider myself warm and patient but know how to be firm with dogs. I can handle strong dogs when walking them (my dad's boxer became a beast). I am very active and can walk a dog for a long period of time. I know dog's crave being outdoors, so I like to give them that chance.
