Hi, my name is Jasmine and I love animals, especially dogs! I am a responsible professional who works as a controller at a local nonprofit (ability to work remote most days) and my partner John and I are recent transplants to Houston from living overseas in New Zealand (I'm originally from Colorado, him Ireland). I miss having my own fur balls so I/we would love to watch your pets while you are away! Since my current living environment does not accept pets, I will travel to your house and take care of your furry family members in their own environment. I will follow all exercise, feeding, medication, etc schedules and stay overnight (if desired) in order to keep your pet(s) company. I will also help out as needed when you are away with other household chores like taking in the mail, watering plants, etc. I am at your service. Rest assured your home will be exactly how you left it when you return to your happy loving pet(s)! Please contact me and we can talk about your specifics. I will also be happy to come for a free initial "meet and greet" before you decide to choose me as your sitter. (Any additional meet and greets are $20 for a half hour). I have taken care of many friends/family members pets in the past before Rover and I've watched many dogs, cats, and a variety of other animals since I've been a member of Rover. I really do love taking care of pets! Why I love dog sitting: From the moment I ever set eyes on one I knew I was in love! Friends and family members would always let me watch their dogs while they were out of town when I was younger because they knew their pets were in good hands and that it made me happy to do it. I believe dogs should be treated like family members and they have always been very close to my heart. I grew up with a Weimaraner (named Candy) and a Lurcher mix (named Duchess). Truly, dogs are too good for us humans but I'm glad we are blessed by their presence in our lives. :P My experience administering medication: I follow directions exactly.
