Great Dog Mom!

Pet care experience

Getting to be a dog sitter is an absolute dream job of mine! I love being a dog mom, because there’s just nothing better in the world than getting so see a huge smile on a pup’s face. I love spending time with dogs to make them happy, as they have always been so amazing and giving to us. They deserve only the best! Likewise, it’s really great to be able to give back to the community at the same time by giving owners peace of mind when they’re away from their best friend. That’s why I just can’t wait to meet your pooch! I’ve been a lifelong dog owner, and I’ve learned a ton about pups during that time. My experience just doesn’t stop there, though! I have been a dog sitter for over 10 years now, so I definitely know a thing or two about keeping pups happy. I have also worked at Texas Humane Heroes for two years, which has been such a rewarding experience. I am a dog photographer as well, so you can expect lots of great pics of us having fun! I currently have two dogs of my own at the moment, Presh and Bubba, and they can’t wait to have some new friends at the house. When taking on a new client, I typically like to schedule a meet-and-greet. It’s a great way to make sure that we’re all a good fit for one another, which is so important to me. Likewise, it gives us the opportunity to chat face-to-face about your pup and your care expectations. No one knows your dog better than you do, so it’s always great to chat with owners in person about what makes their pup tick! Finally, I just love meeting new dogs! I like to get down on their level to show them that I’m a welcome presence here to make friends, and I’m sure we’ll be best buddies in no time at all. One of the things that I’ve learned in my experience as a dog sitter is that communication is key, which is why I’m very professional and prompt with my communications with owners. I love to send regular updates to owners with accompanying pictures so you can see just how much fun your pup and I are having together! I am very detail-oriented, so check-ins will be very informative. I know that it can be stressful to be away from your pup, so my number one goal is to make that time as easy on all of us as possible. I’ll keep all lines of communication open, so if any concerns or questions arise, I’ll be right there to answer them.

Information JARRAH B. would like to know about your pet

Some things I like to learn ahead of time: Would you like to schedule a meet-and-greet before the stay? What’s your preferred method of communication? Does your pup have any health issues that need to be tended to? For instance, dietary restrictions, medicine, or behavior triggers? Do you have a vet nearby that you trust? Is your dog spayed/neutered? Does your pup like to stick to a given schedule, like regular walks in the morning and evening? What does your pup do well around? What does your pup try to avoid? What’s the best way to spoil your pup?

A typical day

I like to maintain an active lifestyle, so your pup will be right at home with me if they enjoy getting out and about! I love to take dogs out and play, and there are so many great places nearby to explore. I am close to Williamson County Park, which is just a treasure trove full of fun activities! There are so many trails to run on and play on, I don’t think we’ll ever discover all of them. And, of course, there’s nothing better than having a canine co-pilot to help you navigate them. If we decide to just stay local, my house has a wonderful fenced-in yard, and I never say no to cuddle time! I’m happy to meet your pup at their level, no matter where it is.
